Frappez avant d'entrer

I took this picture today in London, on the Victoria embankment near Blackfriars in London, but I made a mistake : I forgot to set the camera back to ISO200 and took it at ISO800, hence the grainy texture. Nevertheless, I added very little noise reduction which happened to give that very slight blurry filter effect. I kept it this way because I thought it just added to the out-of-this-world aspect of the picture.

It's like there's an invisible wall just on the line separating wet and dry pavement sides. As if this poor chap had a house of his own, except there's no wall and no door. Or as if his house had just been removed while he was sleeping tight. I found it very poetic. And sad, but then again I'm not the kind of person to give money to beggars, so I'm not going to talk about the actual problem behind this and pretend I'm Mister Perfect. I'd rather just be the eye of the beholder instead.

Modifications : b&w conversion and noise reduction with Nikon Capture.

Negative feedback welcome - it's the best way to learn.
Positive feedback also appreciated, of course - but only if deserved ;)

Constructive criticism is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually. Hence the word constructive is used so that something is created or visible outcome generated rather than the opposite.
