Tribute to my eye opener.
Several coffee beans were hurt during the making of this sequence. The coffee was good that morning*. Good coffee = good day ahead. It's my horoscope.
* just a bit cold, though. And I was late for work. Pictures in the morning? Bad idea.
Modifications : I now shoot in Raw so I can adjust the white balance with Nikon Capture. Tweaked the contrast a bit as well.

Negative feedback welcome - it's the best way to learn. Positive feedback also appreciated, of course - but only if deserved ;)
Constructive criticism is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually. Hence the word constructive is used so that something is created or visible outcome generated rather than the opposite.
What I like the most in your composition is the colours. Nice job.

Freshly ground filter, delicious, although I must say earl grey is my cup of tea. Nice trilogy, I think the center image does it for me.

@Observing: I'm afraid this is no filter or drip coffee though, this is known as stovepot moka coffee, very similar to espresso but yet slightly different. My stovepot is a Bialetti Brikka, which uses a slightly different process than the traditionnal moka resulting in a coffee even closer to an espresso with foam on top, la crema. In my opinion, it's even tastier than espresso when you know how to make it the right way ;)
Thank you both for your comment :)
Very stylish triptych.....great colours and compositional skill!

@Ian Bramham: Thanks! :)

@Alun Lambert: Thank you :) It's a bit different - this is Italian coffee, very close to espresso. It means there is pressure involved.
I like this triptych very much. The choice of different angles and light are excellent ; I specialy appreciate the middle one, very graphic. And colors are so warm and harmonious !!
