La machine à voyager dans le temps - chapître II

Posted by Le Photalgraphiste (London, United Kingdom) on 14 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Here is a second photo shot in the Tower Hamlets cemetery park I was telling you about yesterday - sepia series again.

I found this very touching. First, as you may know it is an abandoned cemetery (see yesterday's pic). Then, this deceased lady is the only one facing this direction. She looked even more abandoned.

I think I could have used a smaller depth of field to get the subject standing out from the rest more. Well, I spot metered the tomb which is a good thing, but a shorter depth of field might have looked good as well.

Anyway. I'm loving my new Nikon lens (18-200 VR), it can be very sharp. Thanks for your feedback ;)

Modifications : sepia filter + contrast in Nikon Capture and that's all.

Negative feedback welcome - it's the best way to learn.
Positive feedback also appreciated, of course - but only if deserved ;)

Constructive criticism is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually. Hence the word constructive is used so that something is created or visible outcome generated rather than the opposite.
